Our Yoga Therapy Program offers you life-support through yoga, and the approach is a rare gem for those interested in yoga practice as a healing modality. IN THE ANCIENT CONTEXT, ALL YOGA WAS YOGA THERAPY – a process whereby a teacher meets a student to assess her specific needs, designs an evolving practice that the student does over time, and the teacher applies tools very adeptly to refine the practice in order to suit the student’s physical, mental, emotional, and even spiritual development. You can take your yoga home with you and practice in the most healing and authentic way by doing an individually tailored practice on a daily basis which can very specifically move you towards your goals.
Become a 200, 300 and 500 hour certified teacher in the direct teaching tradition of T Krishnamacharya and TKV Desikachar. This training emphasizes the teacher – student relationship as a catalyst for personal transformation. Each student is assigned a mentor, and our trainees progress according to their needs, while also learning how to help others do the same. The course is designed for both existing teachers from other traditions and brand new teachers, as well. Prepare to learn authentic and powerful theories and practices to implement in your own lives and the lives of the general population. We are an RYS with Yoga Alliance.

The pre-requisite is a once-monthly Yoga Therapy consultation with Danielle. She will assess and design a practice for you to implement at home. In our self-practice classes at the center, you come in and practice at your own pace, meanwhile a teacher works with you personally to guide you along and answer any questions you may have. Special Needs Classes
We offer special needs classes for groups who are in the same boat, so to speak. These make sure to address the goals and challenges specific to the group – fertility/pre-natal/post-natal, breast cancer, chair-based, obesity, diabetes, and hypertension.
Continuing Education Courses
Understanding the philosophy behind these practices is vital in order to bring the yoga into your life; thus, we teach continuing education workshops on yoga and chanting of ancient texts to extend the benefits beyond your daily yoga practice. Continuing education courses on Vedic Chant, Yoga Sutra Philosophy, prāṇāyāma (the breathing practices of yoga) and dhyānam (the meditation practices of yoga) fortify new and old practitioners of yoga with progressive, deep, effective techniques to transform into more stable, clear, empowered beings.
