Prenatal Yoga

Women have a special eligibility to practice yoga, according to great Yoga Master Krishnamacharya, to support their mammoth responsibility to carry forth and nurture life and family. The focus shifts to creating a calm, confident and deep inner connection, PLUS:

  • strengthening the back and thighs
  • opening the hips and chest
  • improving breathing capacity
  • countering the gravitational center shift
  • soothing the body and mind
  • creating community surrounding pregnancy, labor, birth and motherhood
