Sip and Knit - Lifestyle Medicine Series Spotlight


If your idea of a chill Friday is drinking Turmeric Lattes and learning to knit a scarf, come and be kindred with us. From diabetes to arthritis, from depression to colitis, turmeric's health benefits are ubiquitously known. Start the season off with an immune boost and a new hobby that is also, knitters will tell you, meditation. Seasoned knitters and educators Jeanne Sommer and Gretchen Smith will have you knitting a warm, winter scarf in no time. 

Friday 11/02 and 11/09 from 7-9pm. It’s very important that each participant brings a skein or ball of worsted weight yarn and a pair of 10 inch # 10 or 11 needles . If you have any questions please let us know.
